Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 10 dated 20.1.2015, under Section 498-A, 406, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Rohdai, District Rewari (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise effected between the parties.

Vide order dated 13.7.2015, Trial Court was directed to record the statements of the parties and send its report with regard to genuineness of the compromise effected between the parties.

In pursuance to the said order, the Trial Court after recording the statements of the parties has reported that the complainant has made a statement that the petitioner has failed GURPREET SINGH 2015.10.06 15:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

Crl. Misc. No. M-22264 of 2015 -2 - to comply with the terms of the compromise and she wants to proceed with the case.

In view of the above report, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition.
