(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 27 dated 12.05.2017 under Sections 498-A, 406 IPC and Sections 294 & 506 IPC added later on, registered at Police Station, Naya Gaon, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali). Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that vide order dated 20.06.2017, while staying the arrest of the petitioner, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, where the parties have compromised the matter by a settlement agreement dated 22.02.2018. Learned counsel for the respondent-State confirms the factum of compromise between the parties.
