Through the instant petition, a prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.1 to 3, to investigate the FIR No.145 dated 25.05.2023, under Section 409 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Salhawas, District Jhajjar, in a professional and unbiased manner. 2.

In deference to the directions issued by this Court on 07.05.2024, today the learned State counsel has filed a supplementary status report, on affidavit of Gulab Singh, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Salhawas, Jhajjar, which is taken on record. 3.

A perusal of the supplementary status report reveals that, consequent upon completion of investigation in the present FIR, the Final Report has already been presented before the court of competent jurisdiction on 19.07.2024. The relevant paragraphs of the supplementary status report are reproduced hereunder:- "9. That during the course of further investigation, the respondent DEVINDER YADAV 2024.09.18 13:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-14882-2024 no.4 had joined investigations pursuant to being granted the concession of anticipatory bail. He was notionally arrested on 13.06.2024 and was interrogated while being in deemed custody. He suffered his disclosure statement admitting his involvement in the commission of the present crime. The true translated reproduction of the disclosure statement suffered by the respondent no.4 is being appended to along with present affidavit as Annexure R-1.

That pursuant to the completion of investigation final report dated 07.07.2024 as mandated by the provisions of Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. has been submitted in the Court of competent jurisdiction on 19.07.2024 for the commission of offence punishable under Section 409 of IPC and now the case is fixed before the Trial Court for 28.10.2024 for the purpose of consideration on the point of framing charges."

On account of the supervening events (supra), no further direction is required to be passed in the present petition. Therefore, the instant petition is closed.

Disposed of accordingly.
