Lal Singh v. Harinder Singh
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH FAO No. 474 of 2000 DATE OF DECISION :- 13.11.2025 Lal Singh and another ...Appellants
Versus
Harinder Singh and another
...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellants.
*** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
None is present on behalf of the appellants. Notice was issued issued to the parties. Appellant No. 1 was duly served whereas appellant No. 2 is reported to be dead but none has come present on behalf of appellant No. 1. No application has been moved by the LRs of appellant No. 2 to get themselves impleaded. It seems that nobody is interested in pursuing the instant appeal. 2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the LRs of the appellant, if any to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today. 3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
