Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner(s) in complaint case bearing No. 2222 dated 13.7.2016 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), titled as "Jaswinder Singh v. Kashmir Singh", pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for respondent No.2-complainant contended that the parties have mutually settled the matter and the total amount payable by the petitioner shall be Rs.70,000/-, out of which Rs.35,000/- shall be paid to respondent No.2complainant on 15.1.2018 and the remaining amount of Rs.35,000/- shall be Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2017.12.20 13:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Criminal Misc. No. M-22385 of 2017 paid by 31.1.2018 itself. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 has no objection to that.
Accordingly, present petition for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner stands allowed and petitioner is ordered to be admitted to prearrest bail on his furnishing bail and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
