CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURINDER GUPTA

Present:

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are not named in case FIR No.39 dated 07.04.2016 registered at Police Station Sri Anandpur Sahib for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC but now they are receiving telephonic message to come to police station. In the matrimonial dispute of their son and daughter-in-law, they have no role to play, but apprehend their implication and arrest. After arguing for some time and realizing the need to avail other legal remedy, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail other legal remedies. He however, prays that petitioners may be protected for a week to enable them to avail such remedies.
