NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The petitioner herein is seeking a direction to the respondents to pay him the duly sanctioned medical reimbursement amount of Rs.2,09,642/- with interest @ 18% p.a. from due date till its payment. It is stated that respondent No.2, i.e. Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala has approved the reimbursement of Rs.2,09,642/- but till date the said amount has not been released. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also sent a Legal Notice dated 07.01.2019 but in vain. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the matter and decide the legal notice, dated 07.01.2019 and pay the reimbursement as per his entitlement within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order alongwith interest, as applicable. However, in case the petitioner is not found entitled, the respondents shall pass a speaking order, which the petitioner is at liberty to challenge in accordance with law.
