R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for direction to respondent no. 4-SHO, Police Station, Samalsar, District Moga to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and also to provide protection to him at the time of sowing of crops.
Learned State counsel has already filed reply/affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police Baghapurana, District Moga dated 06.09.2014 and it was reported that there was no such threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner. Moreover, by now the crop season is over.
