**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset seeks liberty of this Court to make a correction in the 1st and 2nd pages of this petition by stating that inadvertently "State of Punjab and others" has been typed whereas it should have been typed as "State of Haryana and others". It is also submitted that the memo of parties in fact reflects the correct respondents.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and deem it appropriate to allow him to make the necessary correction in the Court itself under his signatures.

The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners seeking issuance of a direction to official respondents No. 2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, which is in danger at the hands of the private respondents. CRM-M-23404-2018 -2approached the authorities by filing representation dated 21.05.2018 (Annexure P-2) but till date no action has been taken by respondent No.2 on the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at the present moment he would be satisfied if respondent No.2 be directed to look into the representation dated 21.05.2018 (Annexure P-2) and take action in accordance with law, in a time bound manner.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. P.P. Chahar, learned DAG, Haryana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to supply adequate number of copies of the petition to the State counsel during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. He submits that representation dated 21.05.2018 (Annexure P-2) will be decided within a period of four weeks.

Heard.

Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide representation dated 21.05.2018 (Annexure P-2), within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
