Gurnam Singh v. State Of Punjab And ORS.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CRM-M-26428-2012 (O&M) Date of decision: 05.03.2019 Gurnam Singh ..... Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ..... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN PRESENT: None for the petitioner.
Mr. Harpreet Multani, AAG, Punjab.
Mr. SK Gupta, Advocate for Mr. SS Rana, Advocate for respondents No. 4 to 6. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) On instructions from ASI Prem Singh, learned State counsel contends that in the instant case judicial enquiry was conducted. During enquiry, complicity of private respondents No. 4 to 6 was not found in the alleged custodial death of son of the petitioner. Despite the case having been called twice, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.
Perusal of the file shows that on the previous two dates also i.e. 06.03.2018 and 19.09.2018, the petitioner has gone un-represented. Therefore, it can safely be presumed that the petitioner or his counsel is no more interested in pursuing the instant petition. Resultantly, this revision is dismissed for want of prosecution.
