Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, for quashing of FIR No. 233, dated 04.12.2024, registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 127(1), 324(4), 351(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023, at P.S. Sadar Khanna, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1), and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise dated 25.02.2025 (Annexure P-2), effected between the parties.

At the outset, learned State counsel files the status report dated 19.03.2025, in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

As per the status report, in FIR allegation was against 7/8 persons as assailants, but as per the status report there are total two accused involved in the accident.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of present petition. However, seeks liberty to file a fresh quashing petition on the basis of compromise by impleading all the necessary parties. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as sought and recorded here-above.
