This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of the pandemic, COVID-19. Petitioner, it is submitted, was allotted a chamber at the District Courts Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri jointly with another counsel on 16.02.2015. The other advocate to whom the Chamber was allotted, in an illegal manner submitted an application before the President, District Bar Association, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri seeking deletion of the petitioner's name and incorporating another Advocate's name in his place. Present petitioner is stated to have submitted an application/representation dated 11.02.2021 (Annexure P5) before the President, District Bar Association, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhari stating that OMKAR SINGH 2021.07.02 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh
CWP No.8131 of 2021 [2] the other Advocate, to whom the chamber had been allotted should be restrained from selling/transferring the chamber to someone else. In response to a pointed query at the time of hearing, as to whether the petitioner's name stands deleted or not as an allottee of the chamber, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of the petitioner has since been deleted as an allottee. However, learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to furnish any details thereof or even the date on which petitioner's name as an allottee of the chamber in question was deleted. Relevant facts are not forthcoming in the writ petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, seeks to withdraw this petition with liberty to file afresh with complete and better particulars as well as liberty to challenge deletion of petitioner's name as an allottee of the chamber.
