(Oral) Prayer in this criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus to direct the respondents No.4 to 8 to produce the minor grand-daughter of the petitioner i.e. Tanveer Kaur, aged about 05 years, Ismeet Kaur, aged about 04 years and minor grandson Yadwinder Singh aged about 02 years, who have been illegally detained by respondents No.4 to 8 and further to hand-over their custody to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to seek an alternative and appropriate remedy for visitation rights as well as the custody of the petitioner's grandchildren.
