(THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCING) **** JASJIT SINGH BEDI , J.(ORAL ) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondent No.4 to release the detenue namely Kiranjot Kaur, daughter of the present petitioner as the detenue has been illegally detained.

The learned counsel for the State, at the very outset, submits that the detenue, namely Kiranjot Kaur, has got married to respondent No.4-Paramjit Singh on 26.02.2026 at Delhi.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
