The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0076 dated 12.04.2018 registered under Sections 313, 323, 34, 354, 376, 377, 406, 498-A, 506 IPC at Police Station Women Jind to the petitioner, who is none other than but the father-in-law of the complainant.

By an order dated 30.05.2018 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and had further directed him to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of these proceedings, the matter had been referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. The mediation process has been successful and a settlement deed dated 10.01.2020 has been placed on record.

CRM-M No.23575 of 2018 -2objection in case interim bail granted to the petitioner is confirmed but with a rider that in case, parties do not comply with terms and conditions as specified in the compromise deed, the complainant shall be at liberty to have the bail granted by this Court cancelled. It is further stated that she has withdrawn proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. and she will withdraw the petition filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2012 as compliance of her part of compromise. 5.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

In view of the fact that the matter has been compromised between the parties, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 30.05.2018 is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
