ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.160 dated 08.09.2007 registered under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Raikot, District Ludhiana Rural.

Status report filed by way of affidavit of Assistant SubInspector, Police Station City Raikot, District Ludhiana (Rural) in the Court is taken on record and as per the report, challan was presented on 11.01.2010, before the Illaqa Magistrate and thereafter, the petitioners remained absent from the Court proceedings upto 2014 and after one of the accused namely Lalit was declared as proclaimed offender, charges were framed on 27.11.2014 and the case is now fixed for prosecution evidence.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to raise all the pleas/defence during the course of trial.
