Petitioner has filed this second petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0094 dated 16.08.2018 under Section 420 IPC and Section 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Police Station Morinda, District Rupnagar. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that first petition for grant of anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner has been dismissed by this Court by holding that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation. As per the allegations, present petitioner along with co-accused had taken `2,20,000/- from the complainant in the name of DSP, Chamkaur Sahib, SSP, Ropra and DA Legal and enquiry has already been conducted in this case. Keeping in view the facts and circumstance of the present case and in view of the serious allegation against the petitioner, I find that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for granting benefit of anticipatory bail to him. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
