The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) for issuance of direction to official respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider complaint/representation dated 04.07.2024 (Annexure P4) and 10.12.2024 (Annexure P-5) so as to stop harassment of the petitioner and his family at the hands of private respondent i.e. respondent No.6. 2.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that while addressing the grievance of the petitioner, an FIR No.49 dated 07.03.2025 has been lodged against respondent No.6 which has rendered the present petition infructuous. 5.
