Learned State counsel, on instructions from Inspector Balwinder Singh, who is present in court, submits that investigation in the case is in progress. Same would be completed at the earliest and final report presented before the competent court. Learned counsel appearing for the complainant submits that investigation may be completed in a fair and proper manner. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, this court has not doubt that investigation shall be conducted in a fair manner.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no cause of action survives in this petition and he may be allowed to withdraw this petition.
