(Oral) It is contended that the petitioner No.1 Pooja Rani, aged about 26 years has got married with petitioner No.2 Gurpreet Singh, aged about 201⁄2 years against wishes of her family members, who are arrayed as private respondents No. 4 to 8 and such respondents are threatening to interfere in their marital life,therefore, they be restrained from doing so. Of course Gurpreet Singh being aged less than 21 years, marriage between him and Pooja Rani is in violation of Section 5 of the Hindu Marriage Act. Nevertheless protection is required to be granted to them so that they are not harmed physically by the private respondents. The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.

2-Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, to look into the allegations contained in representation of the petitioners Annexure P-4 and if he finds that some threat perception is there to the petitioners at the hands of private respondents, then suitable action in accordance with law be taken.
