(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing cross-case registered vide General Diary No.57 dated 05.09.2016 under Sections 323, 325, 24, 506, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on vide General Diary No.31 dated 07.09.2016) in FIR No.68 dated 05.09.2016 registered at Police Station Noormehal, District Jalandhar Rural, on the basis of compromise dated 01.04.2017 (Annexure P4). Pursuant to the order dated 21.08.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 06.09.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Phillaur, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.5511 dated 20.09.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar vide letter No.2296G/JRK dated 21.09.2017.

Considering the report of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class dated 20.09.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations between the parties, cross-case registered vide General Diary No.57 dated 05.09.2016 under Sections 323, 325, 24, 506, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on vide General Diary No.31 dated 07.09.2016) in FIR No.68 dated 05.09.2016 registered at Police Station Noormehal, District Jalandhar Rural, is hereby quashed. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
