(ORAL) The petitioner through instant petition under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is seeking direction to official respondents to conclude proceedings/investigation in FIR No.105 dated 01.11.2021 under Section 498-A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Women Police Station, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia contends that FIR was registered on 01.11.2021, however, till date challan has not been presented.

Learned State counsel, on being confronted with afore-stated fact, submits that challan could not be presented due to pendency of present petition as well as connected petition bearing CRM-M-517072021. He further submits that challan would be presented at the earliest.

CRM-M-16007-2022 -2The Investigating Officer is directed to conclude the investigation and present its report one or another way within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Disposed of in aforesaid terms.
