(Oral) Present petition has been filed for issuance of directions to the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action in FIR No.135 dated 06.12.2014, under Sections 498-A, 494, 420 and 120-B IPC, at Police Station Longowal, District Sangrur and further to provide immediate protection to the petitioner as she apprehends danger to her life and liberty. Upon notice, replies filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, today in the Court, are taken on record.
As per reply filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 3, after investigation, the challan against accused Subhash Rangra and Sunita Rangra was presented on 23.08.2016 and now the case is fixed for 12.01.2017 in the Court of JMIC, Sangrur. It is further stated that first wife Naresh Kumar 2016.12.23 15:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh of Prince Rangra is already on litigation with him in FIR No.173 dated
CRM-M-23743-2016 -222.11.2014, registered at Police Station City Hoshiarpur. Prince Rangra was arrested on 03.10.2016 and supplementary challan was presented against him on 17.10.2016 and now the case is fixed for 12.01.2017 for framing of charge along with other co-accused. Moreover, the allegation that the petitioner was called by the office of respondent No.3 on 06.04.2016 has been found false and baseless as she was never called by any of the official of the office of answering respondent.
In view of above-said facts stated in the reply filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 3, no further action is required to be taken in the present matter and the same is hereby dismissed as such.
