       Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners at length, it is observed that the petitioners have filed representations dated 12.03.2020 requesting the authorities of the State to consider appropriate amendments in the rules by adding latest qualifications relating to the post of Dialysis Technician, which is pending before the authorities. Learned Assistant Advocate General appearing for the State of Punjab on instructions from Mr. Jasbir Singh, Nodal Officer, DMER, submits that the representations filed by the petitioners shall be considered and decided in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to pursue the said representations before the authorities of the State. It goes without saying that the authorities shall consider and take a decision on the said representations expeditiously in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
