       Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners at length, as prayed for, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent? authorities to consider and decide the petitioners' legal notice regarding the experience clause inserted in the tender.

For the purposes of enabling the authorities to do so, the petitioners have to file a copy of the petition alongwith today's order before the respondent?authorities who may thereafter proceed to consider and decide the legal notice (Annexure P?17) of the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law. The authorities may, if so advised, grant personal hearing to the petitioners.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
