Mr. Kunal Dawar, Advocate, for the petitioner. **** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) Learned counsel submits that the petitioner as well as his father were arrayed as accused in FIR No.386 dated 17.09.2013 registered under Section 365 and 306 IPC and Section 14 of the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, in Police Station Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar, Punjab and thereafter offence under Sections 302 and 376 IPC were added. Thereafter, the investigation was concluded and final report in the shape of cancellation report was presented on 06.01.2014 but the same was not accepted by the learned Illaqa Magistrate, vide order dated 11.02.2015. Moreover, further investigation has not been completed till date. Notice of motion.
On asking of the Court, Mr. A.P.S. Gill, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State. Taking into consideration the matter, the present petition is disposed of by giving direction to respondent No.2 to conclude the further investigation, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
