(ORAL) The contempt is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 16.01.2019 vide which respondents were directed to ensure due protection of life and personal liberty of the petitioner and his family members and to hold fair and impartial investigation into the FIR. Reply is filed. As per the said reply, the petitioner does not require any security as of now and the same shall be provided as and when representation in this regard is made. It is further stated that challan has already been filed against the accused.

In view of the above, contempt petition is dismissed. Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. May 29, 2019 ( NIRMALJIT KAUR ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
