(ORAL) The petitioners, through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., are seeking issuance of direction to Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pehowa, to conclude trial arising out of FIR No. 57 dated 27.1.2018, under Sections 406, 498-A and 506 of IPC (Section 494 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station, Pehowa, District Kurukshetra.
Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that FIR under Sections 406, 498-A, 506 and 494 IPC came to be registered against petitioners as well as their son. The petitioner No.1 and 2 are 85, 71 years old respectively. The petitioners being at the fag end of their life need to be tried expeditiously. The children of the petitioners are residing in UK and because of pendency of present case, they are not able to move to UK.

This Court is not oblivious of the fact that courts across the country are over burdened. This court has no reason to control Board of the trial court. The FIR in question was registered in 2018 and matters arising out of FIRs registered even prior to 2018 are pending before trial courts. Nevertheless, in view of age of the petitioners, the trial court is requested to expedite the conclusion of trial.
Disposed of.
