(Oral) The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same. A perusal of representation (Annexure P-9) and also other documents annexed with the petition would show that the petitioner has some civil litigation going on with one Mangal Singh son of Ajaib Singh. Representation (Annexure P-9) has been submitted to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar on 2.3.2022, but as per learned counsel for the petitioner no action has been taken thereupon.

- 2 - CRWP-3230-2022 (O&M) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the assertions made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar (respondent No.2) to get the representation dated 2.3.2022 (Annexure P-9) examined so that the same is disposed of in accordance with law.

A copy of this order along with copy of Annexure P-9 be sent to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar (respondent No.2) so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
