It is apparent from the petition that the averments made therein are vague and nothing has been mentioned that would lead this Court to a conclusion that investigation is not being conducted in a fair and proper manner. Even during the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to make out any case that the investigation being conducted pursuant to the FIR lodged against the petitioner lacks credibility. That being the position, the police machinery is investigating the matter, as they are duty-bound to do. Thus, no ground is made to allow the prayer made in the petition. 6.
Sequelly, the present petition sans merit and is hereby dismissed.
