On 18.07.2024 the following order was passed : "On 08.04.2024, Mr. Gursimaran Singh Bawa, Advocate had put in appearance on behalf of the appellants and had filed his memo of appearance. Today a request for an adjournment is made on behalf of the learned counsel for the appellants on the ground that counsel is filing his vakalatnama and seeks some time to argue the matter.

Though no ground is made out to further adjourn the matter, however, in the interest of justice, adjourned to 03.10.2024 subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- as costs to be deposited with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Legal Services Committee."

Vakalatnama has since been filed by Mr. Gursimran Singh Bawa, Advocate on behalf of the appellant, however, today none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant despite the matter being called twice.
