(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 25.08.2020 (Annexure P-8) vide which the representation filed by the petitioner to appoint/promote him on the post of Clerk has been rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Clerk, on compassionate grounds. Learned counsel for the petitioner pleads no instructions from the petitioner.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
