At the outset, learned counsel for the appellants submits that as per written instructions dated 10.08.2023, received from Balraj Singh S/o Sardar Singh-appellant No. 2 herein, the matter has been compromised between the parties; and, therefore, prays that the instant appeal may be disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the respondent does not deny the aforesaid fact and submits that other litigation between the parties i.e. CWP Nos. 2806 and 2830 of 1986, have also been disposed of, in view of compromise effected between the parties.
