(ORAL) By way of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has sought the indulgence of this Court for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to revise his pension w.e.f. 01.01.2016 in accordance with letter dated 29.11.2019 (Annexure P-1) and to pay the arrears thereof along-with interest thereon @ 12% per annum, while averring that vide letter Annexure P-1, the Government of Haryana has granted certain benefits to its employees and he had also sent his case, through proper channel, for the revision of his pay in accordance thereof but the same has not been decided, despite his having sent representation dated 16.12.2020 (Annexure P-2) and legal notice dated 22.01.2021 (Annexure P-4) to the respondents in this regard. joined the proceedings on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 in this case, in pursuance of the copies of this petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to look into and deal with/decide his said legal notice (Annexure P-4), within some specific time-frame.

Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Keeping in view the above-discussed limited prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the matter in hand, the instant writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Accountant General, Haryana, to look into and deal with/decide the said legal notice of the petitioner (Annexure P-4) in accordance with the law/relevant Rules, by passing a speaking order thereon, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
