SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 7, father and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 14.07.2015 (Annexure P-6) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Navdeep Kaur is 19.11.1995 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2Jatinder Singh is 16.02.1994 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They allegedly got married on 10.07.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

CRM-M-23048-2015 -2marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation dated 14.07.2015 Annexure P-6 (addressed to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order along with representation in his office. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
