ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.31 dated 26.02.2019, registered under Sections 458, 341, 324, 323, 506, 34 IPC at Police Station Sadar Patiala, District Patiala. Vide order dated 29.03.2019, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation and thereafter, the case was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for exploring the possibility of some amicable settlement between the parties. As per the report of the Mediator, the matter has been amicably settled and it has been decided between the parties that they will file a petition for quashing and will not claim anything against each other in future.

Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Devinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no MOHD YAKUB 2019.08.16 16:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 29.03.2019 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
