**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) Learned State counsel on instructions from Narinder Kumar, Chairperson, CWC, Jind submits that the detenue is presently confined in CWC, Jind. Learned State counsel further submits that the victim had made a statement in one of the trial as a witness where she mentioned her age as 17 years (Annexure P-2) annexed to the petition.

Given above, let the competent person produce the child before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jind on 30.04.2022. If Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jind deems it appropriate to record the statement of detenue under Section 164 Cr.P.C, he/she may do so. He shall then interact with the detenue and based on this interaction, detenue will be sent to her parents or will be sent back to CWC Home till she attains majority or an order in this aspect is pronounced by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class/Illaqa Magistrate, Jind.
