The petitioners have filed this petition seeking direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to protect their lives and liberty at the hands of respondents No.5 to 8.

The counsel for the petitioners submitted that for the redressal of their grievance, the petitioners gave representation dated 6.4.2021 (Annexure P-3) but no action has been taken by the police authorities. Notice of motion.

At this stage, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf respondents No.1 to 4.

The State counsel has no objection if necessary direction is issued to the authorities to look into the matter.
