RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this court by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking appropriate direction to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents no.4 and 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that when the genuine grievance of the petitioners was not being redressed, they finally approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala-respondent no.2 by way of self contained representation dated 9.7.2015 (Annexure P-4), but the same is also pending decision. She further submits that the petitioners will be satisfied, in case their representation is directed to be considered and decided by respondent no.2, GREESH SAHNI 2015.07.22 11:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthalarespondentno.2 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioners raised vide their representation dated 9.7.2015, including the threat perception and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. With the above said observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
