This is a petition for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 77 dated 20.5.2015, registered under Sections 326-B & 326 IPC at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar. As per the allegations, the petitioner went to his in-laws' house and tried to throw acid on his wife who fortunately was saved but acid fell on the left eye of the complainant and some part on his uncle. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that as per medical report, no such injury has been found and the petitioner has been in custody for about three months.
Learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Faqeer Singh, has also accepted the fact that DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2015.08.31 10:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
Criminal Misc. No. M-23180 of 2015 the medical report does not reveal any such injury. Without going into the merits of the case, I do not deem it appropriate to deny the petitioner the concession of bail. Thus, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is released on regular bail to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Jalandhar.
