Mohan Singh v. Gurdial Singh And Other
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CR No. 1880 of 2019 (O&M) Date of decision : 9.4.2019 ...
Mohan Singh ................Petitioner vs.
Gurdial Singh and others .................Respondents Coram: Hon'ble Mr. Justice H. S. Madaan Present: Mr. Sandeep K. Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. ...
H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Report by the trial Court received and perused. Interim orders passed in the case, placed on record by the petitioner also gone through. It has been pointed out that trial Court has given as much as 13 dates for filing of replication. It goes to show that the trial Court is quite liberal in granting adjournments without justification, in the process delaying the trial.
Expeditious trial is right of every litigant. Therefore, the present revision petition is disposed of directing the trial Court to dispose of the case expeditiously by giving short adjournments and adjournments without justification be not granted. A copy of the order be sent to the Court concerned, for information and necessary compliance.
