Prayer in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents for not allotting agricultural land in dispute bearing khewat No.1267, as per Jamabandi for the year 1990-91, situated in village Barwali Khurd, Tehsil Khamano, District Fatehgarh Sahib, in the shape of plots to persons belonging to Scheduled Castes of the said village.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioners fairly states that during pendency of this writ petition, plots in question have been allotted after obtaining necessary approvals in accordance with law. Therefore, present writ petition is now rendered infructuous.
