RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of direction to the respondent authorities to give at least 15 days prior notice to the petitioners in accordance with the provisions of Section 160 Cr.P.C. as there is a gravest type of apprehension in their mind and their family members that they will be involved in a false case under Section 420 IPC.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and submits on instructions from ASI Satbir that FIR No.51, dated 04.02.2022 under Sections 420 and 447 IPC, at Police Station Dera Bassi has already been registered against the petitioners. He further submits that petition bearing CRM-M-51414-2022 already filed by the petitioner for quashing of the same is fixed for 11.10.2023.

CRM-M-15117-2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:057119 In view of the contentions raised by learned State counsel, no order is required to be passed in this petition as an FIR No.51, dated 04.02.2022, mentioned above, already stands registered against the petitioners and they have already filed a petition for quashing of the same. The present petition is, therefore, disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail their remedies as per law.
