Learned counsel for the petitioner confines the relief claimed in this petition only for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner. On perusal of the paper book, I find that it is a matrimonial dispute between son of the petitioner and respondent No. 4, who is daughter-in-law of petitioner. However, the petitioner possesses fundamental right of protection to her life and liberty. Keeping in view the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Hisar to look into the grievances of petitioner concerning threat to her life and liberty, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order shall be interpreted as giving protection to the petitioner against any action taken in any civil, criminal or other proceedings instituted/initiated/pending against her.
