(ORAL) The prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner-Jatinder Singh in FIR No.130 dated 07.07.2015 for the offence under Sections 304-B and 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.4, Ludhiana. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been in custody for the last more than a period of two years and the trial is likely to take some time to conclude. In view of these facts, it is argued that the petitioner should be admitted to regular bail. Bail application has been opposed by learned counsel for the State on the ground that the deceased committed suicide within a period of five months of marriage at the matrimonial home. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.
