Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the impugned order dated 15.11.2000, vide which the claim of the petitioners for promotion as Horticulture Sub-inspector, was rejected.

Learned counsel on instructions states that during pendency of the present petition, the relief stands granted to petitioner No.1, however, no decision regarding petitioner No.2 has been taken, though they are similarly situated. 3.

In view of the above, learned State counsel states that the matter shall be considered and decided qua petitioner No.2 also within a period of 4 months. 4.

The aforesaid satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.
