Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to grant petitioners entire benefits of old pension scheme from the date of their original appointment till regularization as has been granted to similarly situated employee vide letter dated 11.09.2019 (P-15).

Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioners submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the legal notices dated 10.01.2022 (P-16 to P-18) are decided expeditiously.

CWP No.7747 of 2022 In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2-Director, Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab, to consider and decide the aforesaid legal notices dated 10.01.2022 (P-16 to P-18) in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order within a period of 04 (four) months from the receipt of certified copy of this order.

Needless to say that in case there is a failure on the part of competent authority, petitioners would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for revival of this writ petition and the same shall be considered as per law.
