(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for issuance of a direction to the official respondents No. 1 to 3 to proceed with FIR No.94 dated 08.08.2017, registered under Sections 363/366(A)/376/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Sarhali, District Tarn Taran (Annexure P-1). Notice of motion has been issued in this case and pursuant thereto a status report by way of an affidavit of Sohan Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Patti, District Tarn Taran has been filed. Appearance has been caused by Mr. Sagar Aggarwal, Advocate, on behalf of respondent No. 4 to 6 by filing power of attorney. CRM-M-24323-2018 -2As per the status report, investigation was conducted in the said matter and on a perusal of the statement of the complainant under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and the medical report of the victim, the Investigating Officer found that no such occurrence took place and the concerned Investigating Officer recommended to file cancellation report. The cancellation report was prepared and presented to the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran for its approval and after approval, the cancellation report has been forwarded to the Court of Illaqa Magistrate and the same stands accepted on 13.06.2018.

In view of the fact that cancellation report has already been accepted, no further orders are called for in this petition.
