(ORAL) The present peƟƟon has been filed under ArƟcle 226 of the ConsƟtuƟon of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus direcƟng the official respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the peƟƟoners from the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 10.

Counsel for the peƟƟoners submits that as on date the threat is only from respondents No. 4 and 5.

However, counsel appearing for respondents No. 4 and 5 submits that the apprehension is misconceived and there is nothing to fear from them. 4.

Given above, no order is required to be passed in the present peƟƟon and the same is disposed of. Liberty reserved to the peƟƟoners to file a fresh representaƟon to the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner of Police, within fiŌeen days from today. If the peƟƟoners file a representaƟon with in the above-menƟoned Ɵme period of fiŌeen days, then, the same shall be decided by the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner of Police, within two months. It is clarified that such order must be a reasoned order, and the same be communicated to the counsel as well as representaƟonists without delay.
