On the previous date of hearing, i.e. 11.03.2026, this Court had passed the following order:- "Without issuing notice, at this stage, learned State counsel is directed to have apt instructions from the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar, and apprise this Court about the timeline, within which, the representation/application 12.12.2025 (Annexure P-3), preferred by the petitioner, will be decided.

Adjourned to 24.03.2026."

In compliance with the hereinabove extracted order, learned State counsel, upon instructions from Mr. Baljinder Singh Dhillon, PCS, Secretary, R.T.A., Jalandhar, has informed this Court that the representation dated 12.12.2025 (Annexure P-3) shall be decided within a period of one month from today.

CWP-7225-2026 stands closed. This Court, however, remains sanguine that the respondent/authority concerned shall honour the assurance given by the learned State counsel.
